Take a look at our USB Wireless Print Server Range
A print server is designed to allow network computers to access network printers instead of having to move files to a specific computer that has a printer attached, or to have a dedicated printer attached to each workstation on the network. Each computer on the network will normally have the ability do designate a default printer, but thisdefault setting can be overridden by the user if another is preferred.
A dedicated print server can be configured with user permissions, so that only authorized users can access print services. Having multiple printers associated with print servers will ensure there is almost always a printer available to any member of the network who is authorized to use it, while potentially cutting down the size of the print queues and therefore providing a faster printing service.
Increasingly, home users and small businesses are turning to a USB Wireless Print Server to provide connectivity to printers due to the flexibility of having a printer available from any mobile wireless network device. Traditionally, Print Servers have been connected to printers via a serial cable, and then the Print Server itself has then had an Ethernet connection to the network itself so that other networking devices can connect to an attached printer. With a USB Wireless Print Server, the server is connected to an existing PC or Server to provide the power for the device, which then has a wireless interface to enable other wireless network devices to access attached printers.
Here at www.ipexpress.co.uk we have a range of print servers, including USB Wireless Print Server for sale, most of which can be delivered within 2-4 working days.
